TTIC is working with Phoenix Furnace Company of China to actively promote energy saving technology for reheating furnaces. Furnaces built ten to fifteen years ago or earlier did not utilize technology that is as environmentally friendly as furnaces built today. During that period the energy costs were much lower and people’s awareness about green energy was not the concern that it is today. Therefore the fuel efficiencies of these furnaces and the energy saving was generally poor. Today with the technology improvements on various areas of the furnace design there is potential for great savings of fuel cost as well as reduced emissions.
Phoenix Furnace is one of the top furnace providers in the industry. They have been a leading force to improve furnace efficiencies. Attached please find a questionnaire. It was designed to collect the basic information that Phoenix needs so it can provide a free technical evaluation of your reheat furnace.
We encourage you to spend some time and effort to fill out the questionnaire. We will forward the data and answers to the technical experts at Phoenix. Phoenix will provide a report identifying the benefits, the work required to improve your furnace, the cost of the upgrade and the impact to your operation. Then it is your decision to decide whether the return on investment justifies the investment.
